Staff and Leadership
Jeremy Lawson
Construction Manager
When Jeremy isn’t rehabbing HONK homes, you can find him running marathons, hiking, camping, or spending time with his wife Cara and their three kids. Jeremy says the most inspiring part of his job is “getting to see the houses after clients move in. Seeing pictures on the wall and furniture in the rooms make the houses feel like homes.”
Gina Snavely
Housing Counselor
Gina has over 20 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector! When she’s not helping HONK clients on their homeownership journey, she’s likely serving at Ida Spence Mission or enjoying time with her family.
Maarika Mann
Marketing & Community Outreach Manager
Maarika has over ten years working in Creative Direction, Fashion and Marketing. She joined HONK with a desire to help serve families and the community by sharing HONK’s work. Maarika grew up in Ohio, lived in Tennessee for 22 years, coastal Georgia for one year, and is now living in Cincinnati. She is a mom, a wife, teaches yoga, loves to hike, read and eat out.
Jim Broomall
Construction Assistant
Jim has been with HONK practically from its start! When Jim isn’t painting trim or working with volunteers, you can find him spending time with his wife, six children, and 13 grandchildren! He loves cycling, doing yard work, and playing Sudoku. Jim says he doesn’t have a bucket list- he just enjoys life and wherever it takes him.
Kristen Livingston
Carpenter/Remodeler
Kristen is originally from the small town of Arlington, O.H. She has been at HONK since Aug. 2023. Outside of HONK, Kristen coaches a kickball team, gardens, builds furniture, watches sports, hikes, and creates DIY projects. She is truly a jack of all trades.
Kyle Mardis
Carpenter/Remodeler
Kyle started at HONK in Aug. 2024. He was born in Naples, F.L. but grew up in Newport, K.Y. His favorite part about his job at HONK is that he is able to help families have a nice home that they may have never been able to afford.
Vineto Murry
Carpenter/Remodeler
Vineto has been with HONK for a year and a half. He is from Detroit, MI and loves computers and playing the guitar. One day, we hope not anytime soon, he wants to move back to Alaska. He is energized at HONK by knowing the work we do helps people.
